We are wired for connection, and yet so many of us are currently faced with isolation and a deep yearning for community. Join us for a weekly interpersonal process group to learn new ways to stay engaged when faced with issues of comparison, conflict, self doubt, and vulnerability.
There are many ways to experience and develop personal identity and relationships. This group is for anyone who self identifies as queer (LGBTQIPA) and wants to build relational resilience. This group is something like a relationship lab and a great place to work on interpersonal themes. For this specific type of group people need to be in a relatively stable emotional and environmental place in life, have basic emotion regulation skills, and an ability to receive feedback.
Through facilitated interpersonal group process you can begin to:
confront the cycles of isolation, avoidance, and withdraw from your life
increase ability to represent more fully and authentically in relationships
name and dismantle sources of shame-based oppression
build supportive relationships that serve as a source of strength and resilience.
develop insight and confidence to move through conflict and towards more meaningful connections.
