The role of counseling professionals has become both vital and extremely challenging. This one day workshop is designed to support counseling professionals to foster resilience, self-empowerment, and emotional well-being in times of global uncertainty.  Our world is rapidly shifting and uncertainties ripple through every aspect of our lives. Through experiential exercises, facilitated group process, and journaling we will cultivate a space to examine professional detachment and imagine into the possibilities for collective resilience in chaotic times. Holding the impact of  pervasive violence, systemic racism, the looming threats of fascism, and climate disruption requires that we actively attend to our own emotions.  Regardless of which collective issue resonates most deeply with you—being with others and digesting these experiences in community is a key ingredient for us to nurture resilience and sustain our work.
